CJ Lightcraft Photography — Client Gallery Terms of Service

Effective Date: 2/24/26

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to client galleries hosted by CJ Lightcraft Photography (“we,” “us,” “our”) through our gallery platform (e.g., Pixieset) (the “Gallery”). By accessing or using a Gallery, you agree to these Terms.

1) Gallery Access and Sharing

- Galleries may be delivered via an unlisted link and/or password.

- You are responsible for keeping gallery links/passwords private.

- You may share a gallery link with family/teammates as appropriate, but you may not post password-protected access publicly.

We may suspend access if we believe a Gallery is being abused (mass downloading, scraping, unauthorized resale, etc.).

2) Image Delivery and Curation

- Galleries contain a curated selection of edited images delivered in CJ Lightcraft Photography’s style.

- RAW/unedited files are not provided.

- Image counts may vary depending on the event/session and conditions (access, weather, game flow, lighting, etc.).

3) Digital Downloads (If Offered)

If digital downloads are included or purchased:

- You receive a non-transferable, personal-use license to download and use the delivered images for personal viewing, sharing with friends/family, and personal printing.

- You may not sell, license, or use images commercially without written permission from CJ Lightcraft Photography.

- You may not remove copyright notices, watermarks, or metadata.

- You may not edit images in a way that misrepresents the photographer’s work (heavy filters, drastic color changes). Cropping for social media is fine.

Commercial use (including business branding/ads, sponsorships, promotional materials, or paid publications) requires a separate written license.

4) Social Media Posting Guidelines (Simple + Safe)

- You may post purchased/included images on social media.

- Please do not apply strong filters that significantly alter color/skin tones.

- Tag/credit is appreciated: [your handle], but not required.

- Do not repost watermarked proof images unless you have permission.

5) Prints and Product Orders (If Offered)

- Prints/products are produced by a professional lab or fulfillment provider.

- Color may vary between screens and prints due to monitor/print differences.

- Shipping times and production times vary by product and season.

- If a print arrives damaged or defective, contact us within [7] days of delivery with photos of the issue so we can help resolve it.

6) Turnaround and Rush Options

- Standard delivery timelines may be listed on your quote/contract or in gallery notes.

- Rush delivery (if offered) applies only when purchased and only to the specific deliverable stated.

7) Gallery Expiration

Galleries may be available for a limited time (commonly [30/60/90] days) and may be archived thereafter. Please download any included/purchased files before the expiration date. If you need an extension, contact us.

8) Youth Sports and Minors

Some galleries may include images of minors.

- Parents/guardians may request removal of an image of a minor from an online gallery by contacting [your email] with the gallery name and image details.

- Do not use images of minors for commercial purposes without proper permissions and written licensing.

9) Prohibited Use

You may not:

- Copy, scrape, or mass-download images using automated tools

- Remove watermarks or claim images as your own

- Sell or redistribute images (digital or printed) without permission

- Use images to train AI models or for facial recognition/identity systems

- Use images in any unlawful, defamatory, or exploitative way

10) Intellectual Property / Copyright

All images remain the copyright property of CJ Lightcraft Photography. Purchasing prints or downloads grants a license as described above, not ownership of copyright.

11) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to gallery access, print fulfillment delays, or platform outages.

- Our total liability related to a Gallery is limited to the amount you paid for the related download/print order (if any).

12) Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in New York, unless otherwise required by law.
